Christmas Tree

Dec 3, 2015

This year my husband suggested we get a fake tree, which was surprising because he's always been against it lol. This past Saturday I went on a hint for one at Target (5 Targets to be exact) and they were all sold out! I wanted to take advantage of their great Christmas tree deal going on (trees as low as $30) but by the time I went it was too late and there were no more. So I went online and and was able to score this one for $87 (I know, pricey right?)

but Target being awesome as usual had an amazing deal that if you spent $100 on Christmas items you get $50 off. So I did just that, I was able to score a tree and a few other Christmas things for $50! I kept the decorations simple, I made the bows  and the star ornaments out of clothes pins. I used flocking spray to make the tree look flocked and all the other decorations were purchased at 50% off at Michaels. Which ended up costing me around $20. My husband can't stop bragging about how good it looks so I'm happy. Not going to lie, the tree is too small for my liking so next year this will be going in our bedroom and we'll definitely be getting a bigger tree.
