Birth Story
I should probably be asleep right now since it's about to be 2am, but i'm not tired lol. So I decided to finally share my birth story!!
Friday morning April 6th, hubby left to work around 6:45am and woke me up to give me a kissy and tell me he was off to work. When he woke me up I was not feeling good and felt uneasy. A few hours passed and I started getting mild contractions. Around 9:00am I got up and decided to go for a walk to maybe get things going faster. I called my hubby around 10:00am and told him that the contractions were getting a bit stronger  and told him to come home. I had a doctors appointment at 3:00pm so we decided to wait until then to be checked by my doctor. When she did I was already 4cm dilated and 90% effaced. So off to the hospital we went. I had two different doctors so I was happy that one of them was already at the hospital. Since me and daddy had already planned for an induction that was the plan all along when we got to the hospital. I must say this was such an easy labor compared to my first daughter! Which was a 15 hour long labor, accompanied by tearing and some minor complications with my girl.
I look like a mess in these pictures! Oh the joy of pregnancy! I was so tired and ready for my girl to come out!!

We arrived to the hospital around 4:30pm and I got all hooked up.
Gosh I look so swollen lol
Keeping my family and friends back in Cali updated on every little thing.
I lasted about 1 1/2 hours with out the epidural. Once the dose was at 6 I couldn't take the pain! This picture was taken right after the epidural had worked it's magic! Around 7:00pm I was around 6-7 centimeters dilated. Come 9pm I was 9cm and my water broke. At 10:20pm I was fully dilated and ready to start pushing. After about 6 or 7 pushes my cupcake was born!
Sophia Marie Smart born at 10:32 pm 6lbs 13oz 18inches
My little one day old princess!
